We have a new prospective club. MuC is the first Chinese and German speaking Toastmasters club in our Division.

The demo meeting took place on 2nd June and featured a couple of very special guests. Last years’ International President Balraj Arunasalam acted as timer (can you spot him in the slideshow?) and Program Quality Director Tobias Schlosser is one of the co-founders. Over 40 guests (!) were duly impressed by the agenda: joke of the day, two speeches – one in German, one in Chinese, impromptu speeches, evaluations, grammarian, ah counter. Ying Ying Shi led through the meeting as our Toastmaster of the day.

The first speech by Hongnan Sun was in German. The second speech by Stefan Dirnstorfer in Chinese. The club strives to build intercultural bridges between China and Germany.
